I am a Manchester-based photographer, currently working in the fields of product photography, event photography, and both studio and location-based fashion photography. My portfolio showcases selections from these categories, as well as a selection from my fine art projects.

I have been working as a photographer since 2007, and am currently undertaking a BA (Hons) in Photography at Manchester Metropolitan University.

Product Photography, for print or web-use
My product photography has covered food photography, clothing, and a diverse range of still-life style object photography, primarily for use on websites but also for traditional print-based media.

Product photography for web-use requires a reassessment of conventional photography methods due to the limitations of scale and resolution, and effective utilisation of the media requires a disciplined and methodical approach to product photography, with quite different criteria to traditional print-focused photography.

Event Photography
I have covered events ranging from sporting events, catwalk shows, corporate events, and festivals of different types, to burlesque shows, music concerts, and club nights.

A selection of images is showcased in my portfolio, and many have been published online, as well as in various publications including Bizarre, The E-type Club magazine, Pulp, and Desire magazine.

Fashion / Portfolio Photography
An interest in ‘environmental’ portraiture, or location-driven portraiture led me into fashion and portfolio photography.
